Camps

Age Groups: 1st-12th Grades (1st-5th grade group, 6th-12th grade group)

Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt if you sign up by July 10. If you don't sign up by the 10th, don't worry about it, we will still invite you to the camp. 

Cost: $60 for 1st-5th grade group, $120 for 6th-12th grade. Checks to be made out to Stoic Athletics. Please bring cash or check to first day of camp. 

Technique: This camp will be an opportunity to learn about the basics of beach wrestling. We will cover beginner level to advanced level technique of beach wrestling. Then we will run a girls tournament and boys tournament Saturday afternoon. 

Beach wrestling is the fastest growing discipline right now in wrestling, with talks of being offered in the 2032 Olympics in Australia!

Accommodations: We have numerous hotels located in Polson. The Kwataqnuk Hotel & Casino is offering a discount for anyone coming to the camp.  

Dry campsites will be available at the venue on Thursday and Friday night for athletes, parents, and coaches needing a place to stay. Athletes must be accompanied by an adult. Please email: thestoicathletics@gmail.com if you plan on staying on sight for free. 

What to Bring: Shorts,bathing suits,  t-shirt, plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen, sandals. Foldable chairs for sitting and spectating. 

Optional: Pop-tents for shade. Tent & sleeping bag if you are staying at Riverside Rec. Running shoes for the non-mandatory run with Ty! on Thursday night.

-Registration for older group: 7:30am-8:00am (6th-12th grade) 

-Morning Session older group: 8:00am-10:30am (6th-12th grade)

-Registration for younger group: 10:30am-11:00am (1st-5th grade)

-Morning Session younger group:11:00am-1:00pm(1st-5th grade)

-Afternoon Session: 1:30pm-3:30pm(6th-12th grade)

-Afternoon Activity: stay tuned!

Saturday, July 27

-Morning Session older group: 8:00am-10:00am (6th-12th grade)

-Morning Session younger group: 10:00am-12:00pm (1st-5th grade)

-Beach Wrestling Tournament: 1 pm - closing ceremonies.
